Rice Pudding

Rice Pudding a blast from childhood its easy to make and costs not a lot. Gorgeous comfort food.

You will Need:-

  • 1 Cup short grain pudding rice
  • 1.2 ltrs whole milk
  • 1 large can evaporated milk
  • 50 grms brown sugar
  • 30 grms butter
  • 1 tablespoon nutmeg ground
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Get yourself a large ovenproof dish, pour in the rice, sugar and salt and mix up , then pour in the milks give a good stir up then dot the top with butter and sprinkle over the nutmeg. You want to cook in your oven for 2.30 hours at 150 degrees after an hour take out and stir up then pop it back  in for the final 1.30 hours. Serve up with a dollop of your favorite jam. Guess whats for pudding tonight.
