Christmas has come and gone and the new year means diet time so cutting back on the calories is the name of the game. Flat Breads are fairly low calorie and very versatile. Here is a simple one for you to try.

  • 500 Grams Self Raising Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 500 grams Greek Yogurt

Just add the ingredients into a food processor and blitz till you get a nice ball of dough. Turn out onto a floured work surface and knead, If its a bit wet add some more flour or if its dry a dribble of water till you have a nice soft pliable dough. Set aside for 20 mins to rest.

To cook form the dough into about 10 balls roll out into a circle or oval and rest for 5 mins, brush with some Olive Oil and cook on a HOT griddle for 2 minutes a side until puffed up and lightly charred. Serve immediately or store between foil.
