The National Dish of Venezuela this is my version tastes great but a bit fiddly to produce.
- 1.5 Cup of Cooked Beef Brisket
- 1 Cup Rice
- 1 Cup Black Beans (Tinned)
- 1 Tbsp Cumin
- 1 Good squirt of Chipotle sauce.
- Red Onion
- 1 Tbsp Belize Spice Rub
Using a 5 inch ring fill to approx. 2 cm with hot rice, then warm and crush up roughly 1 cup Black Beans sprinkle in 1 tablespoon cumin and one diced red onion cook out for 5 mins meanwhile add the shredded salt beef add 1 tablespoon Belize spice rub and a good squirt of Chipotle sauce. When hot add beans to the rice then top with the Beef slide out of ring and top with fried Plantain.
