Mac n Cheese Caribbean Style rich thick and creamy this is just so tasty. Easy to make just follow the instructions.
Ingredients for 6 portions:-
- Dried Macaroni or any Pasta tube
- Cheese Sauce Mix
- 500 grms Grated Cheese
- Salt 1 tsp
- Large Tin Evaporated Milk
- 2 tablespoons Made English Mustard
- Chilli Flakes
- Onion Diced
- Tomato sliced x 3
Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil, pour in the Pasta and stir well, remove lid and simmer for 10 mins or till soft, drain and put to one side. To make things quick I use a Cheese sauce mix to thicken the sauce Use about 8 tablespoons of mix with a cup of water and the large tin of Milk bring to the boil, stir until thickened, take of heat and stir in 3/4 of the Cheese, Chilli Flakes, Onions and Mustard, mix well. Now add the Pasta and mix well. Pour into a large Glass dish cover in sliced Tomato sprinkle over the rest of cheese and sprinkle on the Paprika. pop into a Pre Heated oven at 180 for 20 to 30 mins till top lightly browned.
I serve this up with some Nacho chips and Salsa.
